According to oddsmakers, the Jets are a -140 favorite to win on the moneyline. The Predators are a +120 underdog, while the total is set at 6 goals. Jarnkrok questionable to play

Nashville forward Calle Jarnkrok is questionable for tonight's game as he has an undisclosed injury. Jarnkrok missed the latter portion of the regular season and part of the first round with an injury, but has played five games and notched an assist. Although his minutes have been reduced during the playoffs, he did up his ice time to 17:56 in the 5-4 double OT victory in Game 2. He did not play in Game 3. During the regular season, Jarnkrok recorded 16 goals and 19 assists in 68 games played.

Jets dominate last two periods

Winnipeg fell behind 3-0 through one period of Game 3, but rallied for a 7-4 triumph. Dustin Byfuglien and Blake Wheeler paced the Jets offense as they tallied two goals each. Paul Stastny, Brandon Tanev and Jacob Trouba added one goal apiece. Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck settled down after a rough first period, stopping 26 of 30 shots to secure the win. Filip Forsberg and P.K. Subban paced the Predators with a goal and an assist apiece. Pekka Rinne allowed five goals on 43 shots before the final two goals were scored on an empty net.

NHL Betting Trends

The Predators are 1-4 in the last five meetings in Winnipeg. The over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings.

The home team is 4-1 in the last five meetings. The Jets are 5-0 after scoring five or more goals in their previous game.

I was wrong last game in taking the top seed with plus money, but I'm going right back to the well tonight. Nashville was great for one period, so look for a more complete game tonight. It's never a bad idea to take the team with the best regular season record as an underdog.
