The Blackhawks are the third seed in the Central Region, while the Wild are the No. 4 seed in the region. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Chicago is the favorite to win this series, as the Blackhawks have odds of -340 to win, while the Wild has a money line of +270.

Chicago was 46-21-15 overall this season, racking up 107 points. The Blackhawks were 27-7-7 at home and 19-14-8 on the road. Chicago scored 267 goals this season while allowing 220.
