Updated Stanley Cup Odds
(TheSpread) – The NHL playoffs have concluded their first round and had a number of upsets. Here is a fresh look at the odds to win the Stanley Cup.
The Rangers are the top seed in the East and they survived a 7-game series with Ottawa in the first round. The Rangers will now take on the Washington Capitals in the second round. New York has won the Stanley Cup four times.
The Blues are the No. 2 seed in the West and the highest seed remaining in the West. St. Louis defeated San Jose in the opening round in 5 games. The Blues have never won the Stanley Cup or the conference title.
Nashville is the No. 4 seed in the West. The Predators beat the Red Wings in five games to reach the second round. Nashville will take on Phoenix in the second round. Nashville has never won the Stanley Cup or the conference title.
Philadelphia is the No. 5 seed in the East. The Flyers beat the Stanley Cup favorite, the Pittsburgh Penguins, in six games in the opening round. Philadelphia has to face New Jersey in the second round. The Flyers have won the Stanley Cup two times, with the last time coming in 1975.
