The Senators ran right past the Canadiens in Game 5, winning 5-1. Ottawa scored twice in the first period and never looked back. Montreal nearly doubled Ottawa in total shots (46-25), yet the Canadiens couldn’t find the net. Craig Anderson had 45 saves for the Senators while Bobby Ryan had a pair of goals. Tom Gilbert got the lone goal for the Canadiens in the loss.
