Updated NHL West Odds
(TheSpread) – The Western Conference is down to four teams in the NHL Playoffs. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the West.
The Blues are the No. 2 seed in the West and now the top seed remaining after the Kings upset the Canucks in the opening round. The Blues disposed of the San Jose Sharks in five games and will now face the Kings in the second round. The Blues have actually never won the Western Conference title.
Nashville is the No. 4 seed in the West. The Predators beat the Red Wings in five games to reach the second round. They will be the road team in the series with Phoenix. The Predators have never won the Western Conference title.
The Kings are the No. 8 seed but they managed to eliminate the top-seeded Canucks in just five games. They now are the road team against the Blues this series. The Kings have only won the conference title one time, back in 1993.
Phoenix is the No. 3 seed in the West and the Coyotes beat the Chicago Blackhawks in six games to reach the second round. They will host Nashville in the second round but are the underdog due to having less points in the regular season. The Coyotes have the better seed due to being division champions. Phoenix has never won the Western Conference title.
