Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the visiting Vancouver Canucks –127 money line favorites over the Chicago Blackhawks, who are +117 in Game 4 on Tuesday night. The puck will drop at 8:00PM ET tonight.
The Canucks need just one more victory to finish off the defending Stanley Cup champions. Vancouver shut out Chicago 2-0 in Game 1, came back in Game 2 and beat the Hawks 4-3, and won 3-2 in Game 3 on Sunday. Now they’ll go for the sweep on Tuesday night.
According to latest NHL trends, the under is 3-0-2 in the last five meetings between the Canucks and Hawks when the game is played in Chicago, while Vancouver is 5-0 in its last five games against the defending champs.
Daniel Sedin has paced the Canucks with five points, three goals and two assists. He also has a plus/minus of +4, which ties him with Pavel Datsyuk of the Red Wings, teammate Mikael Samuelsson and Montreal’s Roman Hamrlik for the best plus/minus in this year’s postseason.
In the other postseason game on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Kings are +106 money line underdogs against the visiting San Jose Sharks in Game 3 of that series. The puck will drop at 10:30PM ET for this contest.
The home team is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams, while the Sharks are 16-7 in their last 23 trips to Los Angeles. They’re also 35-17-1 in their last 53 games against the Kings.
