NHL Eastern Conference Odds


LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The Eastern Conference features a number of proud NHL franchises in this year’s playoffs. Which one will emerge as the conference champion?

According to the latest oddsmakers, the New York Rangers are the favorite in the East, as they have 5/2 odds to win. The other short odds are the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning, who each have 9/2 odds.

The Rangers have home-ice throughout the playoffs and are the top seed in the Metropolitan region of the playoffs. New York had 113 points this season. It will face the Penguins in the first round. New York is seeking its third conference title this season.

Montreal has the top seed in the Atlantic Region. The Canadiens posted 110 points this season and they will meet the Senators in the first round. The Habs will be looking to win their ninth conference title.

Tampa Bay is the second seed in the Atlantic Region. The Lightning had 108 points during the year and they face the Red Wings in the opening round. The Lightning are seeking their second conference title.
