Monday's NHL Odds
(TheSpread) – The NHL has just two games on the schedule for Monday. Here is a look at the odds for both games that are taking place.
The featured game of the night has the Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Washington Capitals at 7PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Capitals have odds of -128 to win while the Lightning have a money line of +118. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Washington is 40-32-8 overall and 15-20-4 on the road while the Lightning are 36-35-7 overall and 24-14-2 at home. The Capitals have the eighth spot in the playoffs right now by two points while the Lightning are out of the playoff hunt. Tampa has won two of the last three meetings with Washington.
The other game on the night is the Los Angeles Kings hosting the Edmonton Oilers at 10:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Kings are the clear favorite at home, with a money line of -230, while the Oilers have odds of +210 to win. Los Angeles is 39-27-13 on the season and 21-14-4 at home while Edmonton is 32-38-9 overall and 14-21-4 on the road. The Kings are currently tied for the Pacific Division lead with Phoenix with three games remaining while Edmonton is out of the playoff running. The Kings have won five of the last seven meetings with the Oilers.
