Canadiens vs. Lightning Prediction
The Canadiens are coming off an upset win over the Red Wings but pulling off the upset again tonight will prove difficult, as they’ll face the Lightning at 7:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Lightning are -245 money line favorites versus the Canadiens, who have odds of +205 to pull off the upset. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 5 goals.

Mike Condon made 39 saves in a 4-3 win over the Red Wings on Tuesday but he faced 42 shots in the process. He was great down the stretch, stopping 23 shots in the final period as the Habs’ offense backed him up in the victory. But in his start before the game versus Detroit, Condon allowed five goals on only 19 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Rangers so his up-and-down season continues after he was thrust into action due to the Carey Price injury.
Condon and the Habs will oppose the always impressive Ben Bishop, who was outstanding in a 3-0 victory over the Maple Leafs on Monday night. Bishop was a perfect 34-of-34 in the save department and recorded the 16th shutout of his outstanding career. He’s now 33-19-4 on the year and owns a 2.02 GAA to go along with a .928 save percentage.
