John Gibson is expected to start between the pipes tonight for Anaheim after he picked up a win in the Ducks’ 2-1 victory over the Oilers on Monday night. He made 27 saves in the win, which was just his second in his past five starts. He’s now 18-11-3 with a 2.13 goals-against-average and owns a .917 save percentage in 34 appearances this season.

It’s unclear at this point whether Joni Ortio wills tart in net for the Flames or Jonas Hiller, who was a healthy scratch in Monday’s game against the Coyotes. As of this writing, Ortio is expected to draw another start after he won his third game in his last five starts on Monday. He kicked aside 22 shots in the Flames’ 5-2 win over the Coyotes and is now 5-8-4 on the season with a 2.76 GAA and a .903 save percentage.
Even though Ortio has played well, the Flames are an abysmal 1-27 in their last 28 games in Anaheim and are 15-36 in their last 51 meetings with Calgary overall. The Flames have also dropped six of their last seven games following a win and will face a Ducks team that is 10-2 in their last 12 home games.
