Predators vs. Stars Prediction
The Predators had their three-game winning streak snapped by the Aves on Monday and now Nashville will look to avoid a two-game skid when they visit the Stars tonight at 8:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Stars are -130 money line favorites to beat the Predators, who have odds of +110 to pull off the small upset. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 5.5 goals.

In a rare poor performance, Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne was pulled after making only seven saves on 10 shots in a 4-3 loss to Colorado on Monday night. Rinne had been hot before that night to forget, winning five straight starts. Carter Hutton replaced Rinne and stopped 16-of-17 shots, but the damage was already done after the Avalanche grabbed a 3-0 lead.

Kari Lehtonen also suffered defeat in his last start, losing 3-1 to the Coyotes last Thursday night. Lehtonen turned away 27 of 30 shots but he allowed a short-handed goal by Tobias Rieder midway through the third period, which proved to be a back-breaker. He’s been fantastic this season, however, posting a 22-10-2 record in 2015-16.
The Predators are just 1-4 in their last five games versus the Stars and have dropped a whopping 23 games in their last 31 games in Dallas. The Stars are also 4-1 in their last five games overall, 4-0 in their last four games versus a team with a winning record, and are 19-7 in their last 26 games playing on two days of rest.
