Penguins vs. Red Wings Prediction
Desperate for a win to stay in the playoff hunt, the Red Wings will look to win their fourth game in their last five contests when they host the Penguins at 2:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Red Wings are -108 money line favorites versus the Penguins, who have odds of -102 so Pittsburgh’s not exactly an underdog to pull off the victory. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 5 goals.
Bet Today’s Penguins vs. Red Wings Game
Marc-Andre Fleury allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Penguins’ 3-0 loss to the Devils on Thursday night. Despite the defeat, Fleury is still 5-1 in his last six starts and that was only the third time in his past 11 games that he’s allowed more than two goals. He sits at a healthy 32-17-6 on the season and has a .921 save percentage to go along with his 2.31 goals against average.
Petr Mrazek, meanwhile, will likely draw the start today with Detroit needing a victory to stay in the postseason mix. Mrazek is coming off a 26-save, 4-3 win over the Canadiens on Thursday night and is 26-16-6 on the year. He owns a 2.24 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.

This game should have a playoff-like feel to it throughout, especially with the Red Wings in desperate need of a victory. With the urgency high on both sides, I like the under, which is 10-1-1 in the Penguins’ last 12 games following a home loss of three or more goals.
