Bet NHL Action For Saturday, March 24, 2018

Los Angeles opened as a -130 favorite before the line dropped some, while the total has remained at 5.5 goals. The Kings are between a -118 and a -125 favorite, while the Oilers are ranging from a +100 to a +115 underdog depending on the sportsbook. The over-under is 5.5 everywhere.

As of Saturday afternoon 66 percent of public bets have sided with the visiting Kings. Online wager info also states that 57 percent of bets are coming in on the over.

Los Angeles defenseman Paul LaDue (undisclosed) and center Trevor Lewis (upper body) are both questionable to play tonight. For Edmonton, right winger Zack Kassian (head) and defenseman Andrej Sekera (foot) are questionable. Defenseman Oscar Klefbom (shoulder) is out for the season.

The Kings won the first two meetings this season, but lost 4-3 at home on Feb. 24 the last time the two squads played. Los Angeles will look to get its revenge here where it shut down the Oilers 5-0 back on Jan. 2. The Kings are in good form after a 7-1 victory at the Avalanche their last game, while Edmonton is coming off a strong road trip in which it went 3-1. The Kings are the better team here and Edmonton benefited from some weak competition in at least a couple of the road wins. Take the Kings in this spot.
