According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Stars are listed as a -120 favorite on the moneyline. The Bruins are a +100 underdog, while the total is set at 5.5 goals.
Dallas opened as the -120 favorite it is at now, while the total has not budged from 5.5 goals. The Stars range from a -112 to a -120 favorite depending where you look, while the Bruins are between a +105 and +100 underdog. The total is 5.5 at all books.
As of Friday afternoon, 51 percent of public bets are coming in on the visiting Bruins. Online wager info also shows that 68 percent of bets are siding with the over.
INJURY TO WATCH
Boston defenseman Torey Krug (upper body), left winger Rick Nash (upper body) and defenseman Zdeno Chara (upper body) are all questionable to play tonight. Right winger David Backes (leg) and center Patrice Bergeron (foot) are both out tonight, while left winger Jake DeBrusk (upper body) is out indefinitely. Defenseman Charlie McAvoy (knee) is out until early April. Left winger Anders Bjork (shoulder) is out for the season. For the Stars, right winger Brett Ritchie (lower body) is probable. Defenseman Marc Methot (hand) is questionable. Goaltender Ben Bishop (knee) is out until early April. Centers Jason Spezza (back) and Martin Hanzal (back) are both out for the season.
I feel like now is a great time to fade the Bruins if you can get a decent price on their opponent. Boston is in the midst of a stretch where this will be its sixth game out of the last seven on the road. The Bruins faded late and lost 2-1 in overtime at St. Louis last game. Now it is playing an arguably better opponent with many key pieces sidelined. I'll take the Stars here.
