Wednesday's NHL Odds

The featured game of Wednesday has the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the Vancouver Canucks at 8PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers see this game as even, as each team has been given a money line of -104 to win, while the over/under goal total has been set at 5.5. Chicago is 41-25-8 on the season and 25-7-5 at home while Vancouver is 43-21-8 overall and 22-11-4 on the road. Vancouver has won three of its last four against Chicago.
The other featured game of the night has the New York Rangers hosting the Detroit Red Wings at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Rangers are the favorite at home, as they have been given odds of -144 to win, while the Red Wings have a money line of +133 to prevail. The over/under for goals scored has been set at 5. New York is 45-20-7 overall and 25-9-2 at home while Detroit is 44-25-4 overall and 16-20-2 on the road. Detroit has won the last five games in this series.
