San Jose Sharks DFS Spin

James Reimer allowed three goals on 34 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Reimer yielded first-period goals to Keegan Kolesar and Jack Eichel in the first period, plus a late third-period goal to Chandler Stephenson. With Logan Thompson working a shutout into the third period in the opposite crease, the above smattering of goals was enough to drop Reimer to 13-11-4 on the season. He has now surrendered at least three goals in five of his last six starts. Showing next on the schedule for San Jose, a Tuesday matchup with the Ducks.

Anaheim Ducks DFS Spin

John Gibson posted a mediocre performance during Saturday's 7-4 win over the Vancouver Canucks. Gibson did not have his best individual game in this contest, despite ending up in the winning column. During this matchup he allowed four goals on 20 shots and posted a save percentage of .800. He did not allow any goals in the first, but then gave up two goals in each of the remaining two periods. A win in this game, however, does improve his record up to 16-13-8. This result also ended a four-game losing streak for the 28-year-old.

Sharks vs. Ducks Betting Prediction

The road team is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams, while the Sharks have cashed in four of their last five road games against the Ducks. The Sharks are also 4-1 in their last five games when their opponent scored five goals or more in its previous game and is 7-2 in their last nine games when coming off a home loss of three or more goals. The Ducks, meanwhile, are just 1-4 in their last five games overall, are 2-5 in their last seven games coming off a win and are 1-10 in their last 11 games when facing an opponent from the Western Conference.
