(The Spread) – Fourteen games highlight the schedule for Saturday’s NHL action, including a great matchup at 1:00PM ET between the Rangers and Bruins.

Oddsmakers have installed the Bruins as –175 money line favorites over the Rangers, who opened as +155 money line underdogs. The over/under total for this contest is currently sitting at 5 goals and according to latest NHL trends, the under is 6-0 in the last six meetings between these two teams in Boston and 13-3-1 in the last 17 meetings overall.

At 4:00PM ET, the Canucks will host the Sharks on the NHL Network. San Jose opened as a +120 money line underdog while Vancouver opened as a –140 money line favorite. The Sharks are just 2-5 in their last seven road games against the Canucks but the underdog is 4-1 in the last five games between these two teams while the road squad is 4-1 in the last five meetings as well.

At 8:00PM ET the Predators will host the Blackhawks at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Chicago opened as -105 money line underdog while Nashville opened at –115 on the ML. The Blackhawks are 4-1 in their last five games against the Predators but the home team is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams and the favorite is 4-1 in the last five meetings.

One of the late games features the Kings hosting the Avalanche at 10:30PM ET. Colorado is a +150 money line underdog while L.A. opened as –170 money line favorites. The Avalanche are just 3-8 in their last 11 games against the Kings and 1-4 in their last five trips to Los Angeles.
