Friday's NHL Odds

The featured game of the night has the Carolina Hurricanes hosting the Washington Capitals at 7PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have made the Capitals the favorite on the road, giving them a money line of -123 while the Hurricanes have odds of +114. The over/under for goals scored has been set at 5.5. Washington is 25-18-2 on the year and 8-12-1 on the road while the Hurricanes are 16-24-8 on the season and 11-11-3 at home. Washington has won the last three and eight of the last nine against Carolina.
Another featured game on Friday has the Dallas Stars hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning at 8:30PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have the Stars as the favorite in the contest, with a money line of -140, while the Lightning have odds of +129. The over/under for goals scored has been set at 5.5. Dallas is 24-19-2 overall on the season and 13-8-2 at home while the Lightning is 18-23-4 on the year and 6-16-3 on the road. These two teams have split their last eight meetings with the Tampa Bay winning the last encounter.
