NFL Week 1 Odds 4/19/19, Who Do Oddsmakers Favor in Season Openers

The 2019 NFL Schedule was released earlier this weekend and oddsmakers didn’t hesitate in putting out the odds for the opening week of the season.

The 2019 season will officially kick off on Thursday, Sept. 5 when the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers in the oldest rivalry in the NFL. According to the latest oddsmakers, the Bears are the favorite right now, as they are getting odds of -4 points against the Packers. The over/under total is listed at 46 points. The Bears are coming off a 12-4 record with a NFC North title in 2018, but they lost to the Eagles in the first round of the playoffs. Green Bay went 6-9-1 and parted ways with coach Mike McCarthy, hiring rising assistant Matt LaFleur to take over the team. The Packers earned a 24-23 win at home over Chicago to open last season but the Bears got a 24-17 victory in Week 15 in Chicago.
