Are Tyreek Hill’s Super Bowl 54 prop bets inflated or is there some value in taking the Chiefs receiver to go off tonight in Miami versus the 49ers?

Hill caught five-of-seven targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs’ win over the Titans in the AFC Championship Game. His first score came on a jet sweep behind the line of scrimmage in which he took the handoff and ran around the left side of the line unscathed. His second score was from 20 yards out when he beat the Titans up the seam. Hill also finished with three catches for 41 yards on four targets while also adding four yards on his lone rushing attempt in the Chiefs’ Divisional round victory over the Texans.
While I do envision this game going over the total, there’s more value in taking the under when it comes to Hill’s reception total. As previously noted, he finished with five catches against the Titans in the AFC title game but tallied four receptions versus the Texans in the Divisional round and four against the Chargers in Week 17 of the regular season.
Granted, Hill eclipsed the 4.5-reception mark in every game from Week 13 through Week 16, but I’m also banking on San Francisco defensive coordinator Robert Saleh shading coverage towards the receiver’s side. The 49ers do a great job of limiting big plays in their defense and again, my assumption is that Saleh will use his linebackers to help with Travis Kelce and have a safety shaded towards Hill’s side, much like the Patriots did in last year’s AFC title game (with some success).
Hill could still have a decent game but fall under his receptions and yardage total, which I believe he will tonight. If I’m going with the over for a Kansas City receiving threat it’s Kelce.
Tyreek Hill Super Bowl 54 Prop Predictions: UNDER 4.5 Receptions & 74.5 Receiving Yards
