NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Cornerback Nick Harper returned to practice for the Tennessee Titans, who play the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday night and must win to make the playoffs.
Harper, a former Colt, injured his groin during warmups before last Sunday’s 10-6 victory over the New York Jets and did not play.
Harper didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday but did some work Friday at cornerback along with Reynaldo Hill, who started in his place last week.
“He practiced today like we anticipated,” said Titans coach Jeff Fisher, whose team is 9-6.
Backup linebacker Gilbert Gardner, another former Colt, also returned to practice after missing the past two games with a calf injury. Center Kevin Mawae did not practice again because of his calf injury but did some walking exercises.
Fisher said the availability of the three players most likely would be made at game-time.
