FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -The Patriots placed backup defensive lineman Mike Wright on injured reserve with a foot injury Thursday, meaning he will miss the remainder of the season.
Wright has played in nine games for the 13-0 Patriots this season and has 12 tackles. He has played in 38 games since the team signed him as a rookie free agent in April 2005.
The Patriots also signed tight end Stephen Spach, who has previously played for the Eagles and Vikings.
