FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -Jets wide receiver Brad Smith was listed as doubtful Friday for New York’s game against Buffalo with a concussion.
Smith didn’t practice all week, participating in only light workouts, after taking a vicious hit from San Francisco’s Patrick Willis in the Jets’ 24-14 loss last Sunday. He rode the stationary bike Friday during the half-hour window the media are allowed to watch.
Smith, a former college quarterback, has 10 catches for 68 yards and 11 carries for 116 yards in his third season. If he doesn’t play, speedy David Clowney could make his NFL debut after leading the AFC with 222 yards receiving during the preseason.
Clowney, in his second season with the Jets, injured a shoulder in the preseason and has been inactive for every game. He was on New York’s practice squad last season after being waived by Green Bay, which drafted him in the fifth round out of Virginia Tech.

Listed as questionable, but expected to play, were linebackers David Harris (groin), Eric Barton (knee) and Bryan Thomas (shoulder), wide receiver Laveranues Coles (thigh), nose tackle Kris Jenkins (hip) and defensive back Ahmad Carroll (foot).
