DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -Miami Dolphins middle linebacker Zach Thomas will miss his fifth straight game Sunday against the New York Jets because of migraines.
He sustained whiplash in a car crash following a loss to the New England Patriots in October and has had recurring migraines since.
Thomas also missed two games in September because of a concussion.
There are increasing concerns the seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker will be sidelined the rest of the season.
“It’s a situation where it’s tough on him and it’s tough on us, but he’s dealing with it as a professional,” coach Cam Cameron said Friday.
