TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -Tampa Bay quarterback Jeff Garcia injured his back on the first play of Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins. He left the field two plays later, but was expected to return.
Garcia was shaken up when he scrambled for a 1-yard gain and was tackled by Washington defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin. He left after being hit as he threw an incompletion and later walked into the locker room.
The Bucs said his return was probable.
