ST. LOUIS (AP) – Rookie running back Zac Stacy was among three St. Louis Rams players evaluated for concussion-like symptoms against the Chicago Bears. Stacy, guard Chris Williams and cornerback Trumaine Johnson were all ruled out.
Johnson was down for several minutes early in the third quarter after leading with his head on a tackle. A cart arrived just before Johnson got up and he was led off the field.
Stacy scored his fourth touchdown in three games and had 87 yards on 12 carries. He trotted to the locker room just before the two-minute warning.
Williams, who has started every game at left guard, also was hurt near the end of the half. He got attention on and off the field before jogging to the locker room along with medical personnel.
Shelley Smith replaced Williams with the Rams leading 21-14. Rookie Benny Cunningham replaced Stacy.
