SAN DIEGO (AP) -Chargers Pro Bowl center Nick Hardwick participated in a portion of practice on Friday and could be available for this weekend’s home game against the Baltimore Ravens.
“That will be a game-time decision,” coach Norv Turner said.
Hardwick has missed most of the last four games with a foot injury.
Cornerback Quentin Jammer has recovered from a strained hamstring after missing the last two starts and there’s a chance he’ll be back with the first unit Sunday.
“A game-time decision,” Turner repeated.
It’s believed Jammer will start because he delivers the best run-support among the cornerbacks. If so, that means Antonio Cromartie and his NFL-best six interceptions moves back to second-string status, although Cromartie will still see action as the nickel back on passing downs.
