CLEVELAND (AP) -Cleveland Browns starting wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth was inactive for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens with an injured quadriceps.
The Ravens will play without three starters in their secondary. Cornerbacks Chris McAllister (knee) and Samari Rolle (neck) will miss their third straight games, and safety Dawan Landry is out with neck and shoulder injuries.
Stallworth, one of Cleveland’s top free-agent signings, has played in just three games this season. He caught three passes and scored his first touchdown for the Browns last week in a win at Jacksonville but reinjured his leg. Stallworth was ruled out after attempting to run during pregame warmups. Syndric Steptoe will start in Stallworth’s spot.
Anticipating Stallworth might be out, the Browns signed wide receiver Steve Sanders from the practice squad on Saturday.
ack Lawrence Vickers (ankle). Charles Ali will make his first career start.
