FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -Tom Brady visited his New England Patriots teammates three days after suffering a season-ending knee injury.
Wide receiver Randy Moss said the quarterback was at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday and the visit was an “uplifting” experience. Brady was shown walking out of the stadium with a limp but no crutches on a video aired on WHDH-TV.
Also, the Boston Globe reported on its web site that Brady suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee in Sunday’s season opener. The team has not given details of the injury and a spokesman said it would not comment on the report.
