CLEVELAND (AP) -Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones was listed as the starter Sunday against the Cleveland Browns with cornerback Terence Newman inactive.
It will be Jones' first NFL game since the 2006 season when he was with Tennessee. Jones was recently reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after serving a 17-month suspension for numerous off-field transgressions.
Newman missed nearly all of training camp, and the entire preseason, while dealing with a slightly torn groin muscle. He had limited participation in practice last week.
