TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed veteran defensive end Patrick Chukwurah on Thursday.
Chukwurah originally signed with the Bucs as a free agent in March 2007. He appeared in nine games last season, finishing with 16 tackles and one sack. He was released on June 20.
Chukwurah has also played for Minnesota and Denver since being a fifth-round pick by the Vikings out of Wyoming in 2001.
