IRVING, Texas (AP) -Houston Texans receiver Harry Williams was taken off the field on a stretcher Friday night after being hit in the head in a collision with a teammate. He was trying to make a tackle on a kickoff return by the Dallas Cowboys.
Williams was face down on the field when the play ended. Medical personnel immediately called for a stretcher and the game was delayed for about 10 minutes while they tended to Williams.
The extent of Williams' injury wasn't immediately known. His face mask was removed and his head was immobilized when he was strapped to the stretcher and taken to an ambulance.
