CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -The Carolina Panthers released injured defensive tackle Ian Scott and signed receiver Sean Bailey on Wednesday.
Scott, who signed in the offseason to provide depth after Carolina traded three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kris Jenkins to the New York Jets, sprained his left knee on the fifth day of training camp.
Scott missed all of last season in Philadelphia with a knee injury.
Bailey is an undrafted rookie from Georgia.
