PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo Bills star pass-rusher Mario Williams has long ago put last year's accomplishments behind.
Williams says he's never been big on numbers, including the ones he produced in earning his third Pro Bowl selection last season.
What matters are wins. As big of a role as he played in helping Buffalo set a franchise record with 57 sacks, Williams' contributions couldn't prevent the team's 6-10 record.
That's the same record Buffalo had in Williams' first season, after he raised expectations by signing six-year, $100 million contract.
That has led Williams to reach a sobering conclusion. As he first insisted upon arriving in Buffalo, even a player nicknamed ''Super Mario'' can't carry a team on his own.
Williams arrived at training camp more optimistic this year.
