NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Tennessee Titans have wrapped up their last draft pick, agreeing to terms with first-round selection Chris Johnson on a five-year, $12 million deal.
Johnson missed the first practice of training camp on Friday, but the team announced Saturday morning that they had reached agreement on a deal with the running back out of East Carolina who was the 24th pick overall in the draft.
Considered the fastest player available in the draft, Johnson was timed at 4.24 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He is expected to be on the field Saturday afternoon for the Titans' next training camp session.
``We've been working on this deal during the week, and the process takes time,'' agent Joel Segal said. ``It was important for Chris not to miss any more practice. He told me, 'Let's get the deal done so I can get to work.''
