PHILADELPHIA (AP) -The Philadelphia Eagles signed Mexican defensive tackle Mauricio Lopez on Monday.
A 27-year-old native of Mexico City, Lopez spent three seasons in NFL Europe, playing with Cologne and Amsterdam. He joins an already deep defensive line unit.
The 6-foot-1, 329-pound Lopez had nine tackles and one sack in 2007. Lopez played three years for the Mexican national team and at Monterrey Tech.
