NEW YORK (AP) - Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones was happy to follow in Robert Griffin III's footsteps by posing for a statue of his likeness made out of food. Jones hopes to also replicate Griffin's award-winning rookie regular season.
Jones posed with and hugged the bust of his likeness Tuesday at a Subway restaurant in Manhattan, ``amazed'' at its authenticity - right down to the dreadlocks made of more than 1,000 raisins.
He also accepted the challenge of what he called ``Subway Magic,'' by becoming an NFL rookie of the year.
The likely top-15 pick in Thursday night's draft says ``that's definitely one of my goals'' after seeing Griffin take such honors. He adds that winning Defensive Rookie of the Year ``would be a great accomplishment to start off my career.''
