IRVING, Texas (AP) -Safety Abram Elam and defensive tackle Montavious Stanley agreed to one-year contracts with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday.
Elam played in 15 games last season with Dallas, primarily as a backup safety and a special teams player. He returned four kickoffs for 95 yards and had 11 special teams tackles.
Stanley, a sixth-round pick by the Cowboys in 2006, returned to Dallas when he was claimed off waivers from Jacksonville in November. Stanley was inactive for the rest of the season.
