EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – Percy Harvin made his biggest impact in the Seattle Seahawks’ biggest game.
The dynamic wide receiver helped spark the Seahawks in their 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday night with two runs for 45 yards and returned the second-half kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown.
Harvin missed most of his first season with Seattle dealing with a hip injury and then suffered a concussion in the playoffs. But Harvin made it through his first full game healthy, saying it was ”a big horse off my back.”
He adds that the frustrating season took a ”toll,” but it meant everything to him the way the entire team stood by him while he was sidelined. Harvin says he was thrilled to finally ”give my team something for four quarters.”
