SAN DIEGO (AP) -Former All-Pro cornerback Cris Dishman was hired as assistant secondary coach by the San Diego Chargers on Wednesday.
The Chargers also hired Greg Williams as assistant linebackers coach. He spent last season as a graduate assistant at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dishman will work with new secondary coach Steve Wilks and Williams will assist returning linebackers coach John Pagano.
Dishman spent 13 seasons in the NFL and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection. He began his career with the Houston Oilers and later played for Chargers coach Norv Turner when he was head coach in Washington. At the end of his career, Dishman played one season each with the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings.
