Seahawks vs. 49ers Pick

NFL Picks: Will the over cash in Week 17 when 49ers host Seahawks? 1/1/17

Will the over cash on Sunday when the 49ers host the Seahawks at 4:25PM ET in a battle of NFC West foes?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks are 9.5-point road favorites versus the 49ers after opening as a 9-point favorite earlier in the week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 44.5 and has been bet down to 43.5.

Seattle running back Thomas Rawls (shoulder) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice and is on track to play on Sunday. The only other injury news affecting the Seahawks for Week 17 is that receiver Tyler Lockett will miss the remainder of the season after breaking his fibula last weekend in the team's loss to the Cardinals.

The 49ers will be without running back Carlos Hyde, who tore his MCL last Saturday in a win over the Rams. That means Shaun Draughn is in line to start at running back for San Francisco, with DuJuan Harris slated as his backup. Draughn rushed for just 17 yards on 10 carries while adding six catches for 48 yards in last week's win over the Rams.

OUR PREDICTION: The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in San Francisco and has cashed in six of the last eight meetings as well. The under is also 5-2 in the Seahawks' last seven divisional games and is 4-1 in their last five road games when facing a team with a losing home record. On the other side, the under is 20-7 in the 49ers' last 27 home games, is 16-7 in their last 23 games when facing an opponent that owns a winning record, and is 9-1 in their last 10 home games versus a team with a winning road record.
