Arizona Cardinals Fantasy Spin

Kyler Murray (hamstring) is a game-time decision for the Cardinals' Week 17 matchup against the Rams. Murray doesn't figure to be at 100 percent even if active, but coach Kliff Kingsbury seems determined to play his starters if healthy. The same isn't true on the other sideline, as reports and Rams coach Sean McVay alike have indicated that key starters on both the offense and defense could reset in this meaningless matchup. The Cardinals are certainly capable of putting up points on the Rams' backup defense, but it could take until Sunday to find out whether it will be Murray or Brett Hundley under center.

Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Spin

Jared Goff completed 27-of-46 passes for 323 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Rams' Week 16 loss to the 49ers. Goff found a lot of early-game success on play-action bootleg throws to Tyler Higbee and Robert Woods, but his crucial mistake came back to haunt the Rams. With pressure in his face, Goff threw a soft pass into the flats without realizing LB Fred Warner was breaking on the ball. That led to an easy pick-six, which was the difference in the game. Goff continues to have good spells but just can't completely get out of the way of himself. He'll close out his 2019 season at home against a porous Arizona Cardinals defense. Goff should post big numbers then.

The over is 6-1 in the Cardinals’ last seven games after allowing less than 150 yards passing in their previous game.

Los Angeles

The over is 5-2 in the Rams’ last seven games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.

NFL Week 17 Prediction

The under has cashed in four of the previous five games between these two teams and is 4-1 in the last five meetings when the Rams are the host. The under is also 5-1 in the Cardinals’ last six games coming off a win, is 6-2 in their last eight games when facing an opponent with a winning record and has hit in 14 of their last 19 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game. On the other side, the under is 7-1 in the Rams’ last eight games when they’re favored, is 4-1 in their last five home games and is 7-3 in their last 10 games overall.
