Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Spin

Lamar Jackson completed 15-of-23 passes for 212 yards and five touchdowns in the Ravens' 42-21, Week 15 win over the Jets, adding eight rushes for 86 additional yards. It was an(other) historic night for MVP frontrunner, as he broke Michael Vick's single-season rushing record for a quarterback on the opening drive. It had stood for 13 years. Jackson now has 1,103 yards on the ground. It was through the air where Jackson really shined, however, turning in his third five-score performance of the year. He tallied touchdowns of five, one, 24, 33 and 10 yards, with the two longest going to Marquise Brown and Seth Roberts. Brown's was perfectly delivered at the back of the end zone, while Roberts was found in needle-tight coverage. Jackson has 33 passing scores compared to just six picks, and is up to 40 total touchdowns. The Week 16 Browns figure to be his final victim before a likely rest vs. the Steelers in Week 17

Cleveland Browns Fantasy Spin

Baker Mayfield completed 30-of-43 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Browns' 38-24, Week 15 loss to the Cardinals. Mayfield, as has been the case for most of the season, struggled to create explosive plays through the air. Patrick Peterson largely locked up Odell Beckham, but Jarvis Landry’s disappointing performance against the Cardinals’ auxiliary CBs was surprising to see. A matchup against the Ravens’ blitz-happy defense is hardly what Mayfield needs to get back on track. Treat the second-year signal caller as a low-end QB2 in that difficult spot.

NFL Betting Trends

Baltimore

The under is 5-2-1 in the Ravens’ last eight road games when facing an opponent that owns a losing record at home.

On the other side, the over is 6-0 in the Browns’ last six games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game and is 5-2-1 in their last eight divisional games, including the first matchup between these two teams in Baltimore.
