In a game that should be low-scoring throughout, the 49ers will host the Bengals at 4:25PM ET today.

Oddsmakers from online sports book currently list the over/under for today's game at 40.5 points. And after opening as a 4-point road favorite, the Bengals are now -6 versus the 49ers for today's game.

The 49ers mustered just 10 points last week against a Cleveland defense that ranks 30th in the NFL in points allowed this season (27.5 per game). How is Blaine Gabbert and Co. going to move the ball today versus a Cincinnati defense that ranks 2nd in points allowed, surrendering just 17.6 points per contest?

Speaking of the Bengals defense, Cincinnati will need to rely on that unit today as A.J. McCarron will start in place for the injured Andy Dalton (thumb). McCarron threw two touchdowns last Sunday in the Bengals' loss to the Steelers and completed over 60% of his passes, but he'll make his first NFL start on the road after Cincinnati flew cross-country.

This should be a low-scoring affair.
