49ers vs. Seahawks Spread Prediction
Baring a significant collapse over these last three weeks, the Seattle Seahawks should clinch the fifth seed in the NFC. Can they avoid a letdown on Sunday when they visit the San Francisco 49ers at 4:05 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Seahawks are 3.5-point favorites to beat the 49ers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 44.5 points. As of this writing, 74% of the public betting tickets are on the Seahawks to cover the point spread.
Seattle Seahawks
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Doug Baldwin (hip) is expected to play Week 15 against the 49ers. Baldwin said so himself on Friday, so this is not much of a surprise. It has been a down year for Baldwin, but he did score in two of three games before sitting out last week. He has some WR3 appeal in a good matchup.
San Francisco 49ers
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Matt Breida (ankle) is expected to play Week 15 against the Seahawks. It is not a surprise after he got in three limited practices this week. Breida’s return creates a headache in a 49ers backfield which was dominated by Jeff Wilson the last two weeks. It is possible Wilson keeps a role even with Breida back, making both risky options against Seattle. If forced to choose, Breida is the best bet.
NFL Betting Trends
Seattle
The Seahawks are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four road games and are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
San Francisco
The 49ers are 6-15 against the number in their last 21 home games and are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Prediction
The Seahawks are only laying 3.5 points to a bad divisional opponent that they just blew out a few weeks ago coming off a prime time win in which they were out-gained but cashed for bettors? Yeah, this is a trap game. Seattle has been out-gained in four of its last five games despite rattling off four consecutive straight up victories. The 49ers are still playing for coach Kyle Shanahan, as evidence of their upset win over the Broncos last week at home. Take the points.
