Seahawks vs. Jaguars Prediction

NFL Week 14 Seahawks vs. Jaguars Predictions Against the Spread 12/10/17

Will the Seattle Seahawks pull off another upset when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday? Seattle is a small road underdog.

Who Oddsmakers Like: Jacksonville. According to oddsmakers from online sports book, the Jaguars are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Seahawks, who opened as 3.5-point road underdogs earlier in the week. As for the total, the number currently sits at 41 points after hitting the board at 39.5.

Who the Public Likes: With only a few hours left before kickoff, 66% of the betting tickets are on the Seahawks and 62% of the money is also on Seattle to cover as a small dog.

Bet NFL Week 14 Games

Who the Trends Like: The home team is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams and so is the favorite. That said, the Seahawks have covered in four of their last five games against the Jaguars. The over is also 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams.

Who We Like: Seattle. Jacksonville's defense is historically good this season but this is the time of year to ride the Seahawks. They're 20-6-1 against the spread in their last 27 games played in the month of December and are coming off an impressive takedown of one of the best teams in the NFC (the Eagles). Seattle is also 3-0-1 against the number in its last four road games, is 5-1 against the spread in its last six games played in Week 14, and is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games with a winning record.

Leonard Fournette still isn't 100% and if he struggles, the blue print for a Seahawks' victory is simple: Seattle stuffs the run and forces Blake Bortles to beat them. He won't be able to and even though the Jaguars' defense has been great all year, Russell Wilson will wear them down eventually. In a pivotal matchup between two potential playoff teams, I'll side with Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Earl Thomas, Bobby Wagner and Michael Bennett.
