NFC East rivals clash on Monday Night Football tonight when the Eagles host the Giants at 8:15 p.m. ET. With the total dropping from 47 down to 44.5, should bettors follow the line movement and take the under?

Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

New York Giants Fantasy Spin
Golden Tate cleared the concussion protocol. Tate is fully expected to play on Monday Night Football against the Eagles. The matchup is a good one, but there are a lot of mouths to feed with Eli Manning acting as momma bird. Sterling Shepard will be moved back outside and Darius Slayton’s target share is sure to drop. Evan Engram is also expected to make a return. With a lot of moving parts in the offense, Tate is best viewed as a boom-or-bust flex play.
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
The Athletic’s Zach Berman doesn’t expect Jordan Howard (shoulder) to play in Week 14 against the Giants. Howard has been limited in practice the last two weeks but still isn’t cleared for contact. That’s unlikely to happen before Monday, leaving Miles Sanders to carry the load again this week. Howard’s likely absence creates a smash spot for Sanders against a Giants defense that’s allowed the third most rushing touchdowns in the league.
New York
The over is 4-1 in the last five games overall and is 5-1 in their last six games as a road underdog.
Philadelphia
The under is 4-0 in the Eagles’ last four home games and is 5-2 in their last seven games played on Monday.
NFL Week 14 Prediction
The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings between these two teams in Philadelphia and I like the under to hit again tonight. Eli Manning will start for the Giants with rookie Daniel Jones out with an ankle injury and while Eli has immense experience, there’s a reason why he was benched for Jones earlier this season. The Giants offense was struggling with a more mobile Jones and should have issues moving the ball again tonight. On the other side, the Eagles offense came alive last week in Miami and should have success against a bad New York defense tonight. That said, unlike last Sunday, I expect Philadelphia to be much better defensively. Ultimately, I don’t trust the Giants to score enough to contribute to the over.
