Packers vs. Browns Total Pick
Will the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns put up a big total when the two meet up on Sunday at 1PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Green Bay is favored on the road in this one, as the Packers are getting odds of -3 points against Cleveland. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 40.5 points. Green Bay has won four of the last five meetings with the Browns and the two have hit the under in their last two encounters. The public betting in this game has 76 percent going on the Packers on the road. Sunday’s game will take place from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio and air live on FOX.
The Packers are coming off a 26-20 OT win over the Bucs at home last week. Green Bay is now 6-6 on the season and 8-4 with the over. They have hit the over in four of their last five games. Green Bay is averaging just 21.5 points and 329.8 yards per game on offense. Brett Hundley has thrown for 1,269 yards and five touchdowns, but also has eight interceptions. Aaron Rodgers is hopeful to return next week, but a win Sunday would go far in helping that situation come together. Davante Adams is the leading receiver with 744 yards on 59 receptions to go with seven touchdowns. Defensively, Green Bay is giving up 23.4 points and 372.2 yards per game.
Cleveland suffered another loss last week, losing 19-10 at the L.A. Chargers. The Browns are now 0-12 on the season while going 7-5 with the under. Cleveland has hit the under in two of its last three games. The Browns have struggled on offense this season, averaging just 14.7 points and 329.3 yards per game. DeShone Kizer has thrown for 2,038 yards and six touchdowns while allowing 15 interceptions. Isaiah Crowell added 595 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Duke Johnson has run for 277 yards and has 456 receiving yards. Defensively, Cleveland is allowing 25.7 points and 338.3 yards per contest.
It’s hard to see both offenses really shining in this one. Green Bay has been streaky with Hundley and the Browns actually have a competitive defense. The problem for the Browns is the offense. They can’t consistently move down the field and Kizer has been very turnover prone. That should help the Green Bay defense improve on their season numbers. Look for a low-scoring battle in Cleveland on Sunday in the cold.
