Melvin Gordon (hip) was ruled out for Week 13. Javonte Williams drafters are partying in the streets with the rookie set to handle a full workload for the first time. The rookie should be treated as a borderline RB1 against Kansas City. He shouldn't be game script sensitive if he absorbs most or all of Gordon's pass-catching role (both Denver backs have a 9 percent target share on the year). A date with the Chiefs is hardly the best spot for Williams, as KC's defense has allowed the 11th lowest expected points added against the rush since Week 8. Williams, one of the league's preeminent RB big play threats, should see an elite workload though.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Broncos. Edwards-Helaire is reportedly dealing with the stomach flu but Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he "should be fine" earlier in the week. Reid was right and all signs point to the second-year back seeing his normal workload versus Denver. He returned to the lineup two weeks ago and earned 14 touches for 76 yards. Edwards-Helaire should be treated as a mid-RB2 this week.
NFL Week 13 Betting Prediction

The Chiefs, meanwhile, are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.
