Chiefs vs. Browns Week 14 Odds

KANSAS CITY: The Chiefs finally snapped their eight-game losing streak with an emotional 27-21 victory over the Panthers following the tragedy involving linebacker Javon Belcher. Brady Quinn completed 19-of-23 passes for 201 yards with two touchdwons and no interceptions, while Jamaal Charles rushed for 127 yards on 27 carries and Dwayne Bowe caught four passes for 64 yards. Tony Moeaki and Jon Baldwin caught Quinn’s two touchdown passes. The victory improved Kansas City’s record to 2-10 and the team’s ATS record to 5-7 as it cover for the second straight week. With their playoff hopes long dashed, the Chiefs will play these last four weeks for pride.
CLEVELAND: The Browns have now won two straight games following their 20-17 victory over the Raiders in Oakland last Sunday. Brandon Weeden completed 25-of-36 passes for 364 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, while Trent Richardson rushed 20 times for 72 yards and a score. Fellow rookie Josh Gordon also caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, while tight end Ben Watson hauled in six passes for 80 yards. The victory improved the Browns’ record to 4-8 overall and 7-4-1 against the spread, and they’ve now covered in three straight games. With the playoffs not a possibility, the Browns will try to continue to improve every week.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Browns are 6.5-point favorites versus the Chiefs, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 37.5 points. Kansas City is 2-10 overall and 1-4 on the road, while Cleveland is 4-8 overall and 3-3 at home this season.
